Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 24, 2026
Visage Theory ("we", "us") makes a skincare app published by OpenAgent. This policy explains what we collect and how we handle it. We built Visage Theory to be private by default.
What we collect
- Photos you scan. Skin-scan images are processed to generate your analysis. Photos are not stored on our servers or sold. If AI analysis is enabled, the image is sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) solely to return your analysis and is not used to train models or for advertising.
- Your inputs. The products on your shelf, ratings, routine check-ins, progress notes, and profile flags (e.g. pregnancy/medication) are stored on your device. Profile flags exist only to surface safety information to you.
- Account & subscription. Subscriptions are handled by Apple. We receive a purchase entitlement from the App Store; we do not receive your card details.
- Basic analytics. Aggregate, non-identifying usage to improve the app.
What we don't do
- We don't sell your personal data or your face.
- We don't take money from the brands we grade.
- We don't use your photos to train AI models.
AI processing
Skin analysis and the AI coach may send your inputs (and, for a scan, your photo) to a third-party AI provider (Anthropic) to generate a response. This processing is solely to provide the feature and is not used for advertising. You can use the app with sample/offline responses by not enabling AI.
Your choices
You can delete your shelf, progress, and other on-device data at any time from within the app. Deleting the app removes locally stored data. To request deletion of any server-side data, email us.
Children
Visage Theory is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
